Jakarta, June 8, 2026 – Valbury (PT Valbury Asia Futures), in collaboration with Pibo, held a Graduation Day to present the Literacy Awards to 1,000 4th-grade elementary school students, teachers, and the best schools participating in the Literaton program.
Amid the rapid development of the digital investment landscape, the urgency of financial understanding from an early age has become a crucial foundation for the future of Indonesia’s economy. Responding to this challenge, Valbury affirms its ongoing commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program titled #ValburyBerbagi.
Valbury has partnered with Pibo to introduce “Literaton,” an educational program designed to empower teachers and students through innovative literacy learning. This collaboration aligns with the global 2030 agenda for achieving SDG Goal 4 (Quality Education). Through the Literaton program, Valbury and Pibo package financial education materials—which are often considered complex—into learning modules that are interactive, fun, and easy for elementary school children to understand.
Valbury enriched the PiBo Literaton program through the “Managing Money Wisely” module, financial literacy education training for teachers, as well as a hands-on practical activity called “Learning Excursion: Smart Shopping” with 48 students at a supermarket in the Bandung area. The program, which ran for 6 months, reached 20 elementary schools across 9 cities/regencies in the Banten and West Java areas.
During the Graduation Day, PiBo Literaton also presented the Literacy Awards to appreciate the dedication of participants based on three categories: students, teachers, and schools.

Executive Statements
“As a corporate partner, we are proud to see the impact generated. For us, education and literacy are vital foundations in building a generation that is better prepared to face the future. Through Literaton, we want to build a culture of literacy at the primary level and ensure educators possess sufficient basic understanding to make better financial decisions in the future.” — Caroline Haryono, Head of Marketing & Communication at Valbury.
“In PiBo Literaton, the greatest impact is the habit that is formed. A child who reads consistently every day is building fluency, comprehension, and confidence. The habit of this first batch is real, and our goal moving forward is to help more Indonesian children achieve the same consistency. To all the teachers and students who enthusiastically attended every day: Congratulations, this achievement belongs to you.” — Mayumi Haryoto, Program Director of PiBo Literaton and CEO of PiBo.
“The title of Literacy-Cultured School is deeply proud. The rich and engaging access to PiBo’s digital books has made the children genuinely enthusiastic about reading, and the response from parents has been incredibly positive. The habit formed will not stop here. Our teachers and students will continue it in the upcoming academic year.” — Mr. Ucu Sugandi, Principal of SDN Sukasirna Cilaku Cianjur.
Through the ‘Literaton’ early education program, Valbury proves its position as a broker that does not merely chase transaction growth, but also acts as a partner to stakeholders in the Commodity Futures Trading (PBK) industry and the government in building robust financial literacy in society from an early age. This effort is expected to increase Valbury’s own brand awareness as a trusted broker that contributes tangibly to sustainable national economic growth.
